Knitted I-Cord Necklace

When I was at Vogue Knitting Live in NYC, I stopped by the Kollabora table to say hello to Mary Beth Temple. Mary Beth was knitting I-cord and turning it into some fantastic Celtic knot necklaces.

Naturally, I was not at a loss for scrap yarn to whip one of these up. Inspired by Mary Beth, I went home and made my own.

If you've ever worked an I-cord, you know it's fast. Mary Beth made some lovely Celtic knots with hers. I went the easy route and just used a fat crochet hook to create some crocheted chain stitches at the bottom of mine.

I like fiber jewelry because it's soft, untangles easily, and isn't cold against my neck in winter. Do you dig fiber jewelry, too?
